One Strategy Group has tapped events professional Alia Aljunied to provide her expert take on the business events to watch this fall. We trust her opinion, and we think you will too. See below for her guest blog:

Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working on a variety of business conferences and events, including those with GLG, The Wall Street Journal, and Fortune Media Group.

I’ve reviewed the upcoming business events for this Fall, and while there are many to choose from, it's important to identify which ones are really worth it. If you’re looking to make the most of your event calendar, I’m here to guide you through the top picks.

Events are roaring back after the disruptions of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the appetite for engagement, networking, and learning has never been stronger. When curating this list, I focused on several key factors to ensure these events offer meaningful experiences:

  1. Speakers and Content: I carefully examined the roster of speakers, focusing on the caliber and expertise they bring. Where speakers weren’t yet announced, I looked at the event’s historical content to gauge what you can expect to learn.

  1. Networking Opportunities: I evaluated the organic networking opportunities provided by each event. The best events foster genuine connections that can translate into lasting professional relationships.

  1. Intentionality: Finally, I considered the intentionality behind each event’s design—how well the programming supports purposeful engagement and learning.

See below for some of the key events for executives to attend this Fall:
