Everett Rosenfeld is a cofounder and executive vice president for One Strategy Group. He brings a wide range of experience to the firm, having consulted for some of the world's leading companies on strategy related to media, economics, international relations, public policy, internal communications, investor relations, philanthropy, and more.

Before cofounding One Strategy Group, Everett was a Vice President at Laurel Strategies in Washington, D.C., where he advised Fortune 100 companies, venture-backed "unicorn" start-ups, major private equity and venture capital firms, non-profits, and others on high-profile issues including IPOs, M&A, layoffs, and PR crises.

Everett previously led CNBC’s Asia Pacific digital journalism, overseeing staff in Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Guangzhou, and freelancers throughout the region. As the network’s Asia Pacific Editor, he steered all digital journalism worldwide during Asian business hours, directing both reported and thought leadership content. During his career as a reporter, Everett focused on the U.S.-China relationship, international economics, trade policy, U.S. politics, and finance while appearing on TV, podcasts, and the web.

Earlier in his career, Everett wrote for Time Magazine from New York and Hong Kong, and for Deutsche Presse Agentur in Berlin after winning an Arthur F. Burns Fellowship from the International Center for Journalists. While based in the U.K., Everett advised major multinationals on digital taxation, Brexit, China, and trade policy.

Everett was born and raised in Baltimore. He graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s in Ethics, Politics, and Economics, where he reached the highest level of Mandarin Chinese studies. He earned a Master of Public Policy degree with top honors at the University of Oxford and a Master of Business Administration with top honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
