Emilie Pang is a senior associate for One Strategy Group. With experience across corporate, crisis, and internal communications, Emilie has worked in high-stakes environments, managing strategic initiatives and stakeholder relations on a global scale.
She previously served as Assistant Director of Rooms at Mandarin Oriental Pudong, Shanghai, where she led a 100-strong team through the challenges of COVID-19. Prior to that, she worked as Executive Assistant and Chief of Staff to the Group Chief Executive at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in Hong Kong, playing a key role in crisis communication during the 2019 Hong Kong protests, the COVID-19 pandemic, and a major organizational restructure.
Beyond the private sector, Emilie has been actively involved in diplomacy and international affairs. As a Teaching Assistant at Johns Hopkins SAIS, she collaborated with foreign ambassadors and leading academics to develop classes for graduate students. She also served as Vice President of External Affairs for the Student Think Tank on European Asian Relations, where she forged partnerships and organized events to foster dialogue between the two regions.
Emilie holds an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. in Chinese Studies from Newcastle University. She is a native English speaker and highly proficient in Mandarin.
